Was Paul really an apostle? If so, does he possess the same authority as the other apostles? Many of Paul's writings are controversial today even among religious people. They were in the first century too! So, are we to heed his instructions in the church today? We examine those questions in part 2 of our series: The King's Men.
Are God's people still governed by the Old Testament? Besides purchasing our salvation, what did the shedding of Christ's blood accomplish? What does Hebrews 9:15-28 have to do with the communion? Open your Bible and follow along as we look for the answer to these questions within today's study.
Who were the King's Men? They are called in scripture the 'apostles'. The word 'apostle' means one sent on a mission. The men personally chosen by Christ to carry forth and publish the gospel scheme of redemption were given seats of authority in the church and occupied a unique office with it. Are there still apostles alive today or do these men still speak in the stead of Christ Jesus? In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, Kevin begins a 3-part series of studies on the apostolic office and what it means to those of us in the Kingdom of the Lord today.

This week's study is meant to cover the discussion of the Tabernacle as a type of the church as is taught in Hebrews 9:1-15. We have decided to post Brother Jerry Dickinson's exceptional sermon rather than trying to reinvent the wheel and creating an inferior wheel at that! We want to thank ChristianLandmark.com for making the video available and we hope you will check out their other articles, materials, and videos.
Does God want you to be happy? Perhaps that seems like an odd question but it's one that many people ask and many more make false assumptions about. Some attempt to justify sinful decisions by claiming that God wants us all to be happy. After all, if something makes us happy then why would God see anything wrong with it? Yes, God wants us to be happy. But is this what the Lord means by happiness? In this broadcast of Let the Bible Speak, we look at God's definition and prescription for happiness.
Open your Bible and follow along as we gain an introductory overview of Hebrews 8. For a more detailed discussion, consider the audio presentation below. ![]()
